Michael F. Martin

My formal training is in law and science (physics and physical chemistry). Over the past 10 years I have written for newspapers, prepared photorefractive polymers, crystallized proteins, measured single molecule-fluorescence and plasmon propagation, prepared and prosecuted patent applications, advised on technical and legal issues relating to patent infringement and licensing, and managed financial and operational functions for a venture capital fund.

I am currently a Senior Attorney at the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath, where I work for a mix of small and large clients on patent procurement and enforcement. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own, and not necessarily shared by my firm.
