My formal training is in law and science (physics and physical chemistry). Over the past fifteen years I have written for newspapers, prepared photorefractive polymers, crystallized proteins, measured single molecule-fluorescence and plasmon propagation, prepared and prosecuted patent applications, advised on technical and legal issues relating to patent infringement and licensing, managed financial and operational functions for a venture capital fund, and litigated and tried patent infringement lawsuits as outside counsel.
I currently work as in-house counsel to Yahoo!, but the opinions expressed on this blog are my own, and should not be attributed to Yahoo!.
